Transformers the Movie : Soundtrack
80's Metal, Google and obsession
I'm a collector. I have been since childhood. Plastic army men, matchbox cars, music, Transformers, magazines, posters... anything I thought worth having everything of. So every now and then I set myself a goal. 'I will have all the Mr Bungle demos by the end of the year.'

One day I set a new goal. I'd been watching Transformers the Movie with some fellow Transformers loving fans when it hit me how amazing the soundtrack was. We got talking about how rare it was and how great it would be to have in our sweaty little hands (we're all in our 20's btw). So I had a new mission.

Unfortuately we have the internet. It destroys all my previous searching joy. I headed to Google, entered 'Transformers the Movie Soundtrack' and found it. Easy as that. Less than 10 minutes of fun. Damn. But still, I ordered the soundtrack from CDNow and within two weeks (during the Xmas period I might add) I had the soundtrack. And it was fantastic. Easily my favourite of the 80's hair metal era.

Go if you have the chance. There are sites out there with MP3 'samples' of the album. Just use Google and 'Transformers the Movie soundtrack mp3'.
