Don't get out enough
I havn't got out to see many bands lately and am a little low on new content. Powderfinger's new shows in Melbourne for their new album both sold out in two days. I failed to get a ticket. I'm thinking of seeing Matt Walker soon too, but not at the Continental.. $50 is too much. I could get 50 litres of petrol for that.

Any suggestions?

Pre_Shrunk
I give a lot of coverage to this band, interviewing their record company / management, interviewing the band, running Home Bass and never shutting up about their next gigs. That's because they're good. Really good. They are playing tonight at the Punters Club in Fitzroy, Melbourne and I would suggest that you go. They are being supported by Clan Zu who I'm informed are also very good.

Unfortunately I can't go as I have four other pre-booked events going on that I have to choose from. I might be able to dive in late...

preshrunk.com has annouced through Judd's Mudd that pre_shrunk have scored a contract in Japan to released everything pre-Digital Sunrise in a compilation. Checking over it I'm pretty sure it doesn't all fit so I'll be interested to see what they miss out. Good luck!

Listen to Hot Robots at mp3.com.au or check out some live samples from preshrunk.com.

Sleep
I don't get enough of it. Hardly anyone does. Eight hours of sleep minimum is what the average person requires to function properly. That's not eight hours in bed but eight hours uninterupted sleep. I bet you would struggle to find a person with a full time job these days who gets that much.

It's amazing but you'll also find that most people KNOW they have to get this much sleep or they won't function properly but it doesn't stop them from not getting it. If tomorrow they announced that mobile phones definitely caused cancer in more than 50% of people who used them... people would still use them. Smoking definitely causes cancer and a million other problems but people still do it.

Crazy world we live in. Just read some of these articles...

Arn't I a happy camper?
