Napster v. CD sales stats
This article from eStats shows the correlation between Napster usage and CD Sales. Of 120,000 US homes, before Napster usage 10.4% visited CDNow and 8.3% actually purchased CDs (this is VERY high is it not?). Four months into 'downloading music' 18.5% visited CDNow.com but only 5.5% purchased.

Simply (at least for me) this tells me Napster increases people's interest in purchasing CDs, but people are not happy to pay the current prices.

RIAA Dispute MP3.com's Copyright claims
Really Ignorant Arrogant Arseholes? Nah... too harsh I think. RIAA Disputes MP3.com's Claim That Copyrights Are Invalid. MP3.com argues that because artists are 'Work For Hire' the copyright's RIAA lodged in the artists names are invalid for whatever reason. RIAA says 'blah' and claims it's all irrelevant until 2013. They remind me of the current Australia government, 'we killed all those people a hundred years ago, it's irrelevant now, talk to me when they're all gone.' Or am I shouting 'Nazi'?
