Triple J Live At The Wireless
I'm sure I've mentioned it before but Triple J Live At The Wireless fans should definitely check this page out. A huge list of all the LATW's ever done with setlists and links to bands. If only all this stuff was available to buy. I want those The Sharp gigs and Truth gigs!

RIAA takes over
A few days ago Slashdot reported that the RIAA plans to control the royalties of all downloadable music on the net. Not my music you're not.

Telecomunications Companies
...could well be the 'content providers' of the new millenium. Chris Golbey makes some interesting notes about telcos advertising their services as the 'best way to download music' etc. They could sit back, get rich, and buy all the record companies... It's a lot easier to control what is being downloaded when you own the infrastructure.. isn't it?

The Cell
I saw 'The Cell' last night. The ads make it looks like a 'make-up and effects' movie. ie. lame. This movie is not a make up and effects movie. It is one of the most disturbing movies I've seen in a long time. Bits of it were wank, bits of it felt very tacked on but I really enjoyed it. Surprise number one for this week.

Top 10 - Bjork?
I've been listening to 'Post' and 'Homogenic' over the last few days in the hope of one of them making to Top 10. For the moment I'm thinking Post. Post is far more of a 'songs' album. 'Army Of Me', 'Hyperbalard', 'It's Oh So Quiet' are all fantastic songs, and the rest of the album has songs of that quality. 'Homogenic' is far more of an 'album' with the songs flowing into each other a little more. I like it but it doesn't do it for me as much as Post.

I'm not as happy with the production of Post as I should be... and if it wasn't for 'headphones' it would probably be there for sure.

Sorry Bjork.

Buy A CD
Please? I've spent the last week and a half working flat out on CDshop.MP3.com.au. Why don't you go buy a CD? CDshop.MP3.com.au.
