Aussie Dollar causes tour cancellations
I saw on early morning TV a few days ago a report stating that a few international artists (Elton John was the example) are cancelling their tours because of the weak Aussie dollar. They seemed to only be talking about 'mega' artists like KISS (who are still coming) and the such but it is a disturbing thought to think bands will not be able to afford to come to Aus because we can't pay them enough.

Various MP3
The biggest distributer of "good crap music" Emusic are sueing MP3.com for having their content on the my.MP3.com service. Their numbers are a little dodgy. They claim 13,000 albums are involved, more than Universal claimed.

Madonna is now available (if only briefly and only to stream) on MP3.com.

Referers
I had a couple of interesting referers today. One was for 'nudist*13'. I can only guess what they were looking for and they ain't here. What they did find was my first post containing the Regurgitator song 'Wanna Be A Nudist' and was posted on the 13th of June.

The other was for 'Andrew Bowie'. Were they looking for me? They clicked the link so maybe they were? Maybe it was another Andrew Bowie out there doing a vanity search. Who did they find? Professor Andrew Bowie, "one of the world's foremost experts on the development of modern German philosophy, for which he wrote the entry in the revised edition of the New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians." An article Schelling, Friedrich Wilhelm Joseph von by Andrew Bowie. The third link was me, a link to a trading site cv.org. The link to this site wasn't until the bottom of the page, a link to the David Bowie reference a while back. Yay.
