Restrictions
Life is full of restrictions.... I was just about to go into a huge rant explaining... but I think I'll just go to bed.

For Sale
I went through my CD single collection recently and I'm trying to decide if I want to sell or keep most of it. Part of me says to just copy what I want to CDr and sell it all to a fan who really wants it. But another large (and annoyed) part of me says that that's wrong. I can't bring myself to copy something and then sell it. I am going to copy my favourite stuff from my singles to CDrs to make them a little more listenable though.... but after doing so I'm not sure I could sell them.

A lot of it is to do with the effort I went to get it all of course. But this is stuff I just never touch. Why bother having it?

CD Ripping Heaven
While I'm on it, I have to scream as loud as I can, never put a Sony CD drive in your computer. Ever since I've had this new computer (a year or so) I havn't been able to rip CDs properly because my Sony spews up at the last few bytes of every song. I just went to a computer fair today and bought a cheapo ($70) Panasonic 45 speed and threw it in and now everything is funky. I have a huge feeling, given Sony's reputation on these things, that the spewing was a deliberate attempt to prevent ripping of CDs...

Or maybe I'm just tired. 'night
