DVD
My DVDs from Kmart's 15% Off sale came today. At least, 2 out of 3. The Alien's Legacy 5 Disc set is on back order. Bummer.
I've become another statistic in the 'loose DVD' saga. My Midnight Oil DVD came loose in it's box while travelling and now has lots of little scratches all over it. Bloody great. Was it worth it getting it $3 cheaper to go through this? Nope. But you never think of these things until they come.
Oh Can-a-dah!
I love Canada and I've never even been there. And I love that damn International Orange bridge and I couldn't even walk the whole way across. So what do you get when you cross some Canadians and the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge? VW's quiver in fear.
AOL Time Warner
AOL now owns everything Time Warner owns... including it's music. They're offering subscribers to AOL the chance to listen to Rod Stewart's new album a day before it hits the stores. Um.. one whole day? Oh yay. Thanks.
It's a first though. An internet provider owns some music (a lot of music actually) and is restricting it's access to only those who are subscribed to them. I don't like to think about how far this could go.
