Napster thought
There was a song I wanted to hear (Supergroove's "Only The Rain") but the CD was in the car. It's less effort for me to download the song from Napster than it is to go out to the damn car to get the CD. My thought of the day....

Best Ofs...
At a party last night a friend threw a question at me... "Three Greatest Greatest Hits CDs?". It was a very "High Fidelity" moment and thus I was instantly deep in thought. A few ideas were thrown at me, Queen's Greatest Hits Vol 1, U2's recent 80's hits CD. I agreed with Queen, not with U2 and added my own greatest greatest "Simon and Garfunkle's Definitive". Fantastic CD that. This made me think of good old S+G and reminded me of the fact I have all their damn CDs at home and so that is what I will be listening to this week, as well as Supergroove's "Traction".

Up or Down
Random life moment. I went to a party today and the house had one of those damn anti-male seats that won't stay up. I've never been so tempted to piss on something in my whole life. It was such a primal moment.

Shutup and give me news you loser
Hey, not surprisingly those mentalcases at the RIAA are now going after OpenNap. CuteFTP better watch out. Hey, I hear Apache server can be used to serve MP3s.

Song writing
I havn't been doing much of it lately. Part of it is to do with my much higher treshold for what is a 'song' and what isn't. I have heaps of ideas that fall in the trash now because they're not interesting enough, where before they're end up on a CD. I just wrote a song. I spent exactly one minute on it. I have one piece of a verse and the verse chords. And now I'm leaving it. Because I'm a lazy bastard. I'll come back to it tomorrow.

Walken
Hey news. I had a brainwave today. Heath could play bass and sing at the same time. Magic. Depends if he wants to of course. And the way he jumps around he could really hurt himself with a huge bass strapped on. At least it would be funny.

Crap idea of the day
That would probably make a fair chunk of money in advertising if someone did it
A 'swear filter' website that filtered out all words in a website except the swear words with asterix etc. It's stupid enough to pass around, a little banner ad at the top. Lots of impressions. Bingo. Money. The net completely sucks. What ever happened to digging holes for a living?

shitmusic.com
For some dumbass reason Easily.co.uk own shitmusic.com.

I'm not in a good mood today.
