I just bought Eminem's "The Marshal Mathers LP" to see what the fuss was about. I love "Stan" but for some reason I feel guilty about it. But I'm sitting here listening to "Kim" and I have to say I haven't felt this way about a piece of music for a long time (see Korn's "Life Is Peachy"). Jesus this guy is messed up. It's like watching Puppetry of The Penis. You're laughing but feel weird about it. I'm liking this, but it feels like liking a snuff video or something. I'm not going to bother deciding what he means to do with this music but I know what it does for me and that's pretty much all that maters.

Tool Triple J FileTool is the subject of this weeks Thursday Triple J J-File. Interviews, past hits and tracks from the new album for three hours.
The last one they did was Bob Marley. Pity I missed it but they have a nice archive of audio samples.

Pantera vs PentionerSome lucky older-person gets tickets to a free concert. Turns up in a suit and tie with his well dressed friend, to be shoved into General Admission with thousands of sweaty New Zealand teenage metal heads. This is news. haha. (via

Spent fifteen minutes or so searching the web for the new Tool single last night and couldn't find it. I gave up, turned on the radio and there is was playing for me on Triple J. I thought it was funny anyway... now if only I could do that with Regurgitator's 'Fat Cop'.
