I was just photo survey'd for what was obviously "Red Bull" but was for energy drinks in general. It's interesting that when he said "energy drinks" I thought "sports drinks" as in "Gatorade" etc. I don't see the Red Bulls, Burns, Vs and Lift Pluses of this world as energy drinks. They're wake up drinks, end of story.

It was fun to give the over all impression that Red Bull is horrible stuff, while praising Lift Plus for the nectar of the gods that it is. Yum! Still, I can't think of a single Lift Plus ad but remember all the Red Bull ads and most of the V ads. The power of choice over advertising.

Beat Magazine also informs me today of the new Gurge tour for the album "Eduardo And Rodriguez Wage War On T Wrecks". The tour (entitled the "Canon Fodder" tour) has Regurgitator "and the odd guest here and there" playing the Prince Of Wales, Thursday 16th and Friday the 17th August, The Lyric in Geelong on the Saturday and the 21st Century Club in Frankston on Sunday the 19th August. Friday gig here I come. Big *bounce*

By the way, when the hell to Fantomas tickets come out because I'm not missing out this time?
