Death to guitars  #

Got my guitar back from the guitar shop on Friday and finally sat down today to play it. All was fine and good for about fifteen minutes and it died again. Apparently last time it was "a loose wire on the pickup" and it's doing exactly the same thing this time so I assume it's the same thing. Loose wire sounds like something I could fix but none of the wires look loose to me. Not happy at all at the moment. Grrr.

I think it's time I upgraded my computer. Not because I think it really needs it, but I had a look at memory prices today and wow! 128 Meg for $65. It cost me $260 for 64 when I bought my computer (at the height of the Taiwan memory crisis). CPU's look pretty cheap too. hmmmm

Subject URL: .NAP

New Napster is to create a new format, .NAP. Half of the company will focus on the new Napster format, the other half on the RealNetworks MusicNet format. Napster will convert your MP3s for you. Oh thanks! (via Slashdot and The Register). Lots of good Napster story links at the bottom of the article linked above.
