Subject URL: Shirley Strachan dies

Shirley, vocalist of Skyhooks, and more recently TV personality, crashed his helicopter and died yesterday. I found this out because I saw him briefly on TV and said "man, Shirl's lookin' old innee?" and Dad said, "no, Shirl's dead". He used to live near my school, I knew people who broke his letterbox (which I didn't approve of). I feel like I'm losing some I never knew.

I had an idea for an Obituary weblog. Often I see short articles on "famous" people who've died which give a brief overview of what they've achieved in life. I often feel many people miss out on this privilege.
