New York's phantom limbThis article describing New Yorker dealings with the loss of their skyline got me thinking. How would Sydney deal with the loss of the Opera House, or more importantly, the Harbour Bridge? Actually, a much more acurate simile would be Tower Point... but not really. As the article says, so many logos in New York, from the news to the firefighters badges, have the New York skyline with the towers on it. In Sydney it's the Bridge, or the Opera House. It's so unique. It's so strange. Otherworldly.
