It seems that most people in the bands we've played with lately don't have day jobs, or if they do, it's part time. Most of the seem to be unemployeed, at uni or just cruising in McDonalds jobs. Their biggest complaint? No money to buy equipment. But they have time...

Metallica are officially back in the studio. As SilentUproar said, "Does anyone still care?". I'm hanging for some banging Detroit techno or possibly some try-hard Limp Biscuit rapping / record scratching. Is Bob Rock still producing them? I could look, but I'd rather not.

The gig went well. Armadale Hotel "back room" about half full, laid back acoustic set, a rarity. Calls for encore from people we don't know. Warm glow.

Everyone noticed the new Pepsi Twist and Diet Coke /w Lemon? Has anyone noticed that the "large" versions of these are 600ml, not the usual 660ml? Same price for less kiddies...

Everyone loves my Decepticon t-shirt. I wonder if Dave's Autobot t-shirt has made him any friends in sunny (no, really, it's sunny apparently) London.
