One down, one to go.
Tori Amos' new album "Scarlet's Walk" released October 29th. Unless it ends up on Kaaza first and then it'll be released a week early. We can only hope.
Weezer opening for Gun's And Roses? What has the world come to?
I'm not sure politicians with Weblogs will make any difference. It's too much information. Hardly anyone is going to read pages and pages of rants and arguements between pollies. People want soundbites. That's why the news works. People don't want both sides of the story. They want to be told... At least, that's what the news told me.
I've a heap of good articles at work but I forgot to bring the home links with me. Damn.
Regurgitator, an official website is only any use if it's regularly updated...
Hey, Records Ad Nauseam is back. Joy.
I always get on the computer thinking I have heaps to do... and half an hour later I'm struggling wondering why I'm staring at the glow... cable helps. Cable internet lets me do everything in five minutes and then I'm stuck wondering... out of habit.
The new place we're going to live has a park at the end with a beautiful pond. The pond is full of ducks. Not just your usual ducks but several species of ducks. I love ducks. The walk to the station is through the park. It's beautiful.
I'm going to have to start putting all this crap in boxes again soon for the move. I'm seriously concidering selling or giving away massive slabs of my collection of stuff. I know there are other people out there who want it to sit and rot in their cupboards. Better theirs than mine. Anyone out there like Powderfinger?
Futurma Season 1, Red Dwarf Season 1, Simpsons Seasons 2 and 3, Lord Of The Rings Extended version, Star Wars Episode II...
Every now and then I forget why I uninstalled Kaaza and reinstall it, try to kind Apocalyptica's "My Friend In Misery" and Tori Amos' "Only Women Bleed" and remember. It's too bloody slow. Napster was fast. Lightning fast. Kaaza is a dead snail. Maybe it's my firewall, maybe the stuff I'm searching for is just too damn weird. Maybe Optus is throttling these ports. Who cares. I can't use it. I miss AudioGalaxy. I miss Napster. I don't want to pay $50 a month for the chance to download two songs that probably arn't on the official digital download sites and I don't want their shitty formats. *throws tantrum*
I'm over spending $20 to import a CD single for one damn song. Hell, I'm over spending $10 on a single for two maybe three damn songs.
I'm over spending huge amounts of money on songs just because they're rare.
Ah...
For a huge mass of information, the web doesn't have a lot of it. Not the stuff I want. Like... are the other three Powerpuff girls DVDs going to be released in Australia or am I going to have to import them? Who knows. The distributors don't know because they havn't decided. But they'd never tell us that. Maybe they'll put them all out to celebrate the movie coming out next month in Aus. Maybe not... lies... all lies to make sure me, as the consumer, stays happy. Lies!
It's crazy talk...
