Hot water, the final frontier... we've not had hot water at home for a few days (since about Friday). Not good. Nasty stuff. Tonight I go home and have a hot shower. I'm already hanging for it.

My minor little worries in a world of nastiness.

Getting my band's CD on the selves of indie stores around Melbourne (and hopefully soon for sale on the web thanks to my mate Doug at Rare Records). It's all flowing.

Amusing note for the day : "Au Go Go Record Store, specialising in indie/alternative releases from all over the world..." except they don't accept indie releases anymore, "it's too hard".

The big gig's (Armadale Hotel, $6 on door) on Friday. Hopefully everyone won't be asleep by 11:30 when we come on. Hopefully we'll get a few Armadale regulars randomly coming in to see us. Maybe a few will like us and buy a CD. Maybe a few won't throw the CD in a bin in a years time. Maybe someone will throw money at us? Maybe it'll just be a fun night.

I'm just looking forward to seeing Photos of Being again!

ADSL modem arrived today, the phoneline is all set up. I'll be back in broadband land again soon. Fantastic deal through iiNet, especially after their recent reevaluation. Even better if you bring your own modem.

No contracts (although you have to pay three months in advance each quarter so you're locked in for at least that long), massive download limits dwarfing the competition (6 Gig + 6 Gig off peak vs. 3 Gig) and no extra charge if you go over your limit, your bandwidth is just shapped to 72kbps, probably about twice as good as a 56k modem on your usual quality phone like (about 40k). Plus all the usual perks of broadband: always on, not taking up the phoneline etc.

Yes... addiction.
