Subject URL: Peter quits the Oils

After 25 years of mostly excellent albums (the only one I actively dislike is Breath and that has some good songs on it) Peter Garrett has quit Midnight Oil. Good for them to end on a high, the last album was excellent.

In the statement, the band wished Garrett all the best, and stressed their commitment to continue making music together in another guise at some point down the track.
