Drove up to Portsea and on to Point Nepean to check out Fort Nepean yesterday. Interesting to see much of the tourist traps packed even on a Wednesday. I'd hate to see the place in the middle of the Xmas holidays. Fort Nepean includes a particularly interesting set of old burried forts and tunnels, some of which you can walk through. I saw a bit of Cave Clan graffiti advertisting their website www.caveclan.org but unfortunately havn't been able to find out any info on what they actually did there.

Might buy a new guitar today. If I can get my ass out of the front of this computer...

I look forward to the day when people can rant about how they hated parts of a film and follow the rant with "and so I ripped the DVD and opened up 3D Studio 5 and downloaded the actor-files and re-cut the film, available here for download".

Anyway, David's "i didn't like Lord of the Rings : The Two Towers" rant linked above [via VM] is perfectly valid and pointed out a few things I'm sure I'd have hated if I hadn't have read the book 6 years ago and forgotten most of it. Everything where I sort of when "what the?" appears to have been altered or just made up completely.

I still liked it...
