New guitar was out of tune for most of the Laundry gig but most people wouldn't have noticed. Unfortunately, listening back to the minidisc recording, I know a lot of musictypes would have. Ick. Time to mess with intonation again. New strings might help. The factory ones suck. The heavy songs sound excellent though. We all know distortion was invented to hide bad playing don't we?

Back to work tomorrow. I'll be going back to news that a few of my workmates have been axed. Sigh. I'm going to miss the break. Three weeks off just gets one into the random time wasting stage. Where you stop planning to do things each day and the time just slips by, the "to-do" list in the bin.

Got the photos back from Werribee zoo (and various other excursions). I might put some up here later this week in a moment of time-wasting.

Recording for the band will probably start next weekend. No gigs for a while (this time we mean it). Be good to get this stuff in the can.
