Reading : William Gibson's Pattern Recognition
Deliberately Watching : 24, Buffy, Angel, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Invader Zim, Simpsons
Aren't I cultured?
Speaking of Zim... a new episode was aired recently, making the total count of post-cancellation airings 2. "Backseat Drivers From Beyond The Stars" and "Most Horrible Christmas Ever". Use your favourate method of time-shifting to watch it now.
Back is sore. Wrists and fore-arms are sore. It was 8:55am and no-one was here... The phone on my desk is linked to reception. Will it ever stop ringing?
Got the redubbing of my videos down to a fine art now. Minidisc audio replacing crud handicam audio. Combination of TPMGenc, audio editing software and maths. Thanks to VCDHelp and trial-and-error. All burnt to SVCD. Can't help but think that in ten years time the VHS will still be there in resonable quality and the SVCD will be dead and unreadable in my Microsoft controlled media machine 2010 (TM). Still eyeing off DVD recorders. $500. Music... keep mind on the music.
Yes, Powerpuff Girls : The Movie did rule. If only for the monkeys. So... many... monkeys! The reviewer linked clearly hasn't seen much of the show though. Mojo's beginnings has been discussed before as the topic of an episode, and we've always known what was under Mojo's turban... Did I say it had monkeys in it? And the interview with "Extra Guy" after the Mayor's interview in the extra is fantastic. Apparently the R1 disc has character commentaries. That would be amusing for ten seconds although it's bound to be well scripted. BUT R1 is pan&scan. Eat that suckers.
