Surgically implanted chips...  #
Thursday, 17 Apr 2003 09:41AM
Holidays tomorrow. Finishing off last bit of work. Not going anywhere special, just up the mountains for a night or two at some point. Lots of sleeping and TV/DVD/VCD watching. Should probably do some demos... speaking of which...

Two years ago today WALKEN was recording Glory/Lucy demos. Freak-out.

We managed to get a pretty good version of Glory down on tape without vocals. Heath is mixing and munging at his place as I type and will do vocals during the week ... Only ten more songs to go (or is it more...)

We never did do any more than Glory and Lucy and half of Right Again. Wonder if we'll stick to our guns and do more on this round of demos. I definitely want to get the new stuff down on tape. So far we have four with drums/guitar waiting for bass/vocals.

Even more... two years ago today I bought a bike. I've ridden it five times. Dave borrowed it see... bring my bike back! ;p I was also excited about a gig to see Regurgitator which turned out to be one of the best gigs I've ever been to.

Massive "yo! you rock" to Pre_Shrunk for taking my (our, as in soundpimps) advice and putting up the "unreleased" tracks from the "Digital Sunrise" sessions on their webpage for download in excellent quality MP3. Just register as a soundpimp (that's a fan of Pre_Shrunk don't ya know) and go to the members download page. Funky little particial video of Pre_Shrunk at the Big Day Out 2003 too. The songs are "Puppet Master", an instrumental version of an old song they used to do in the late 90's, and "Talking With My Hands". The other two D.S. unreleased songs were put out on the re-released Digital Sunrise/Sunset 2CD set.

Saw some bizarre graffiti at the station yesterday detailing how surgically implanted chips are the same frequency of microwave ovens and would "cook" you. In then detailed "W3 search words". I'll post a photo next week.
