Am about a quarter of the way through the great single-rip 2003. I'm already up to 1.3 Gig of MP3. Time to buy a DVD burner I think. When they get under $400. How long before we have DVDR reading MP3 player in cars? Which then must be replaced a year later with Blue-Ray reading MP3 players? But then, if you have Blue Ray you don't need to compress as much so you go with SHN or FLAC or just WAV or just regular CD but burnt to DVD... format format format!

The blogger you thought would never quit, has quit. ScriptingNews Dave has thrown in the towel. Oh, he's back again, boring. Stays off my blogroll though. It's for my own good.

Hulk (the movie) is an odd one. I'm sure a lot of people will just dismiss it as "crap" but it's more than that... um... insane editing, some of it good, most of it like someone playing with a new copy of MovieMaker (tm). Some of the fights of Hulk vs. Various-Things are great, a lot of it isn't. The ending is pretty damn over-the-top in an anime kind of way. Part of me loved it. Part of me wants to burn all copies of it.

Recording went extremely well on Saturday. Lots of stuff feeling a lot more finished now. I'm converted to mic recording the amp vs. DI (plugging guitar direct into computer). Sounds much better. Hanging to do more stuff now that I'm getting better at this stuff. We've another 10 songs or so to record yet. Maybe tour first to get some cash. Those 8 track drum recorders arn't cheap to hire unfortunately. Would love the M-Audio Delta 1010 10-track PCI recording card, but it's $1000. Too much. Much cheaper than a $2000 8-track stand-alone hard-disk recorder though. And probably cheaper over all depending how much hiring we do. Ergh.
