Three years and one day ago today I was all excited about a new job at MP3.com.au. The first 6 months of that job were bloody ace. I sound so happy in that post.

Hi Chris. Metallica suck ;p

I just bought a CueCat barcode scanner for US$1 (+ US$10 to get it here...)

You too can have a free house from Housestra if you commit to a $1500 a month for 360 months. They'll even throw in a free toaster. (Living expenses not included).

My Back To The Future replacement DVDs arrived, I had a look and I have to admit I think I notice where the framming was out and has been fixed but I don't have the old version to compare. I don't care anymore.

mySQL is installed, tables created, data imported, IIS/ASP connecting to mySQL via System DSN and myODBC. Looks like I'll have to re-write most of my embedded SQL as well as my stored-procedures. My SQL isn't 733t enough for mySQL.

Been programming for a Pocket PC at work using Embedded Visual Basic. Bit like programming for a dishwasher, or a 386 (same thing), they're not the fastest beasts in the world. At least... this one isn't. Apparently iPacs're better. They're (Pocket PCs and their like) a lot more interesting to me now I know they're so easy to write for. They're $1000+ price tag is still too much though. And I'd want at least a gig of RAM with swappable discs. 64 Meg is a joke.
