Another useless online music store. From 79c a song. From $7.90 an album. And...

Due to licensing restrictions, BuyMusic.com content is available only to residents of the United States.

What is the point of the internet with crap restrictions like this. Until we break down the artificial market bariers we're not going to get anywhere. For those of you that can use it, you need Windows Media Player 9, Internet Explorer (the site works in nothing else). Files are 128kbps WMA files. You can burn them to CD (a limited number of times). They don't have any Apocalyptica or Faith No More or Regurgitator. They do have Mr Bungle (89 cents a song).

Tools in the Windows Media SDK let you legally decode WMA files if you know what you're doing.

"I'm thinking Part-Time may be my thing. I've known a few people who work four days a week and are very happy." - 20th August 2001

"Would you work less hours at your current place of work for less cash?" - August 13 2001

At the times above I was working in a hell hole of dotcomness and was living at home. I had a lot of disposable income.

As of next week, I'm maybe going to be working 3 days a week. The reasons I cannot explain here but anyone in IT could guess. I find out on Monday. I'm looking forward to it, but I've done the numbers and they don't look good. I hope this isn't a long term thing.

Mental note: Use this webcam to check out the Myer Music Bowl during the Metallica gig in 6 months.

Speaking of gigs, Walken gig tomorrow. I suppose I should turn up and play guitar then. Cornish Arms on Sydney Road. We're on at 9:30pm. Come early and eat some food before you get hammered on rider (note to self). Was hoping to get Friday off but that didn't happen.
