Back at work full time, I have work to do Mon/Wed/Fri on-site (IT support by the sound of it), the other days they'll find something. I make bad coffee. I hope they know that.
Supporting hardware (and OS) makes me shudder with boredom but often there is enough to do to fill in a day so hopefully the days will go quick. And you can usually find something to program in an IT job. Tappita tappita.
And I'm working in my holidays. Answering support calls as I type.
I'm reading Stephen King's 'Salem's Lot at the moment, and there is this part that describes this guy that looks after the town dump. He talks about how he goes through the trash pulling out all the stuff that is worth money and selling it, and doing up old furnature, setting fire to rubbish, and shooting rats. It sounds like a sweet life...
Micallef Tonight goes. It was never going to win against Andrew Denton but I'm going to miss it. It was often really bad, it often dragged in a way that made you want to cry (like a puppy left tied to a bumper) but I loved it anyway. Hopefully Micallef will keep going, somewhere.
