After the World Trade Center attacks in 2001 I went on a bit of a building photography mission and took a bunch of photos of Melbourne. I took a few of Federation Square being built. I've recently taken "after" photos of these shots and the both the before and after are available for your perving at my photoblog.

I've upped all new photos on the photoblog to 600 width now. 500 seemed too small.

I can't really blame the WTC attacks for my snaphappiness. I'd just bought the new camera and I had a couple of weeks off to fill having just quit one crappy job for another less crappy and more career enhancing job (bwhahahahaha... cry).

I took an "after" shot of this photo of Melbourne floods from the 70s but it looks almost exactly the same except that awning isn't there anymore and the Melbourne Central (bat-man building) is. Oh, and there is a bloody great tree in the way of the shot now too.

Maybe I'll show you that photo one day. Maybe...
