Tenacious D movie has a tentative release date of late 2004. Meatloaf may or may no be in it. Tenacious D DVD should be out (in US) 28th October. Still no mention of it on Amazon.

The music industry has actually gone through this before. Back in the early days of radio, broadcasters happily filled their programs not only with recorded music, but also readings from plays, magazine articles and books. Finally, in 1923, ASCAP (the American Society of Composers, Artists and Performers) after trying to resolve the matter peacefully with licensing offers began to sue radio stations to enforce their copyrights.

Our neighbours were nurses. Often the smell of burnt toast would come from their clothesline. We were told it's the smell of rotting corpses. This has since been confirmed by a housemate who worked in a morgue. I burnt my toast this morning.
