Hard backed bush bashing...  #

El President's itinerary today seems to indicate that he'll be speaking with El Prime Minstero for 50 minutes and to Simon Crean for 5 hours and 15 minutes. I'm sure that huge gap between Crean and "Arrives At Australian War Memorial" is just nap time. Or maybe he's giving himself 5 hours to find it. Canberra is roundabout hell.

The crossed itineraries... oops. Ignore that, they're on different days. Duh.

Which reminds me, the latest Michael Moore blog rant on paper is out. Still hard back and >$30 though. I wonder why those who make CDs havn't thought up the "expensive hard back version before the cheapo paper back version" yet. They have with special first release 2 disc editions etc. but not the degree of books. The normal cheap version is almost always available next to the bonus expensive version.

And you don't get anything bonus with a hard back edition but sore wrists.

Meanwhile, a Austrian company is planning on putting giant 24 hour video conferencing screens in public places in London and Vienna. People from both cities will be able to visit the screens at any time and talk. It'll be like a portal into the other country. It's sounds fantastic. Read the article. Where is the Australia / San Francisco one? Or Washington / Baghdad. Hell, Melbourne / Sydney would be cool enough.
