Looks like part of the free trade agreement with the US is that APRA will extend Australian copyright to life + 70 years [slashdot.org] from the current Australian standard of life + 50 years.

Not much to say today. Am still sick, it flaired up a bit today, swollen something in the back of my throat. Feel a bit better this afternoon.

Found out my parents had a car crash on the way to Brisbane yesterday. They're both fine just very shaken up and without a car.

On Sunday Evan (ex-Photos Of Being) is coming around my place to lay down some 2nd guitar parts for a few songs (mainly Blue Sky).

Daniel (our bass player) isn't going away during December so Walken have already gone out and scored a couple of gigs during that time. One at Revolver on 3rd December with Meebar and maybe one on Boxing Day at Laundry with we-don't-know-yet.

We're told that not too many people have been turning up to rock gigs at Laundry on Johnston street and that our 130 people gig with Meebar and The Kits is the best they've had since. This is freaky. Get of your arses and get to gigs people or it'll all be over soon.

On another note, next week is going to be very complicated...
