Not too busy today, it's very xmas eve around here.

I haven't really had much of the xmas spirit lately. I've enjoyed buying gifts but my mind has been on other things.

Plans for Xmas? See my family tonight. K's family tomorrow. Gig on Friday. Back to work on 29th :(

Our drummer was bitten by a White Tail spider Tuesday last week. As of Tuesday this week it was still badly infected and painful. He kept expecting baby spiders to start crawling out of the wound. Either the antibiotics kick in and he's fine on Friday or he has to get it cut out, which would make drumming a little difficult. Good luck Leigh! The doctor wouldn't rule out that it could "get worse". I never did review Cabin Fever...

Speaking of open wounds, all of the demos are now "done" (tm) except for polishing/mixing and except for vocals for Open Wounds and Fish Out Of Water. All guitar/bass/drums are done for all demos. Since starting the demos we've new songs... Laundry, Blur, Livin' Large, Hawaii, Guess Again, "Heath's New Thing" aka Coldplay, "Daniel's New Thing" aka PJREM. Lots of bits and pieces. Very likely play Guess Again at Laundry...

You'll see we take pleasure in ribbing ourselves by naming songs after the band we reckon it sounds like we're ripping off until they get real names. Open Wounds used to be John Denver. Fish Out Of Water used to be FNM. Blur's name will likely change. Fun with the AKA field in our APRA forms.

Our gig at Laundry on 26th (Boxing Day) should be huge. Be there for cheap champas and Meebar and Ghosts, and us if Leigh's leg doesn't drop off. I suspect possible acoustic action if Leigh is out of order.
