Band is heading back into the studio tomorrow night for two hours for various fix ups. There is a big list of changes but only two important ones. Turn stuff up (down), redo some shaky shakers, maybe double some guitars if we get time. Personally I'm kind of over it. I haven't listen to the CD since a couple of days after we finished it. I'm more interested in hearing the mastering version.
I also hate the last 10% of anything. I have a swollen "that'll do" gland.
Either way, the EP is mastered on the 10th of March, which will see some samples online sometime that week. Hopefully all printed up by end of March. Gigs on 11th, 13th and 26th of March. Break in April. Insane Walkenness in May. You'll be sick of us by June.
Went to the physio today. I've stuffed myself a bit over the last year. Fair bit of damage to muscles and tendons in my right arm. Starting up in my left arm. Classic RSI case. Starts with tingling in the wrist and hand. Moving up to forearm pain. Eventually hand numbness and loss of muscle strength. I'm currently starting up the numbness. At least I'm finally using my health insurance for something other than the dentist.
Once Upon A Time In Mexico is excellent. Suffers a little from some moments of jarring editing and dodgy storyflow, but you're watching it for the action surely?
Meanwhile on the consumer front, I've bought stuff all... but coming up is the release of all of Invader Zim to DVD (yay!), the first season of Samurai Jack to DVD (yay), Dream Theater's version of the whole Master Of Puppets album (yay). Yay!
