Silly me for mouthing off before 100% checking my facts. I was just angry our gig was nearly cancelled for something I feel so strongly about.

Facts:

• All live music at Laundry Upstairs has been cancelled, due to noise complaints from nearby residents.
• Our CD launch is the last gig upstairs at the venue.
• They are still having gigs downstairs.

Anything else I said was my opinion based on various rumours.

In order to make the gig happen we had to promise to be finished by 12:30am (previously we had a DJ friend going until 3am).

It seems the comments i've made in the last four posts involved confidential information. Any problems I've caused, sorry.

All anyone needs to know is that the WALKEN gig at Laundry was nearly cancelled due to noise restrictions, and that all future gigs at Laundry have been cancelled.

Needless to say, the flow-on effects of these actions are quite obvious...
