I'm told the latest Whitlams DVD (something I wanted about four years ago but am so-so now) is fantastic for fans and for music lovers alike. Reading the back it sounds like a fairly detailed biography of the band in video and audio including footage of their earliest gigs, a "interactive" timeline with every gig The Whitlams have done listed and thousands of photos. It certainly sound interesting. The Whitlams went from years of doing "OK" to suddenly huge after "Eternal Nightcap", to almost dead again, to huge again after "Blow Up The Pokies". Such a ride must be fun to watch.
Hmmm. A year ago today I was talking about my latest trip to the dentist. I guess it really is time to go back again.
Possibly joining that insane group of Australians known as "home owners" soon. Wish us luck!
