Popped down to the Espy last night to pick up and drop off some cash from the gig on Saturday. On stage was one poor girl from Adelaide who had bronchitis but still managed to scream our her acoustic rock. She reminded me a lot of what Daisy from Spaced would look like if she was a singer/songwriter.

After her was "Alisha C" or "Elisha C" (unsure of spelling, Google brings up nothing useful, little help?). I only saw three songs but the guitar skills on the first song had me open mouthed in shock and love. She's one of those magic guitar players that are all over the fret board and playing the rythmn and fill solos at the same time. I almost didn't notice her singing...

I'm told the Sydonia/Walken/Meebar/Vasco Era gig on Saturday got about 300 people. Excellent night. Everyone's happy. More gigs in the future. Maybe our break won't be as long now...
