"We were on the seventh deck, the second highest deck, and the waves were higher than our window and they were pounding on the window all night and they blew in the front windows of a couple of the cabins."...
Ms Archer said some passengers couldn't get their doors open because cupboards had pushed against them.
"And because they were up to their knees in water, they thought the boat was sinking and so they really panicked and they don't want to go on the boat again."
I noticed that the second line we took was almost flooded. A little bit of extra rain would have had that out of service too. Noticed a couple of flooded underpasses too.
Sounds like almost every train line was effected by flooding or branches across lines or powerlines down.

My line is back up and running.

Not much else to say except that I bought an X-ecutioners CD (Revolutions) today for very cheap ($5) at a secondhand store, still sealed. I couldn't figure out why it was so cheap. Then I noticed the "Edited" label. It's the version with all the swearing, mentions of sex, guns and drugs taken out. It's a hip hop record. I expect the lyrics to be simply lots of "and" and "it" and other joining words with lots of blank. Which sucks.
I blame Walmart. Screw you censorship. I can't believe their is a market for this rubbish. I think I'll release a new range of metal albums with all the guitar E chords and A chords taken out.
