Unauthorised CD on Triple M's latest advert  #

Have you seen the latest Triple M adverts? With Mick and the CD throwing chimp?

Have you noticed the CD that seems to take centre stage in the advert? The CD the Chimp first takes from the shelf and the CD in the centre of the pile of CDs in the shot of the floor?

It's one of those Unauthorised bootleg CDs that were huge in Australia around 1995.

I'd call it a mistake, but to have it so central in so many of the shots in the advert screams deliberate.

I've yet to be able to capture the advert on tape but when I do I'll screenshot it.

I mean, what does it mean? Triple M is OK with illegal bootlegs? Triple M is trying desperately to inform us it has illegal CDs on it's shelves?

Zoom in on Lenny Kravitz Unauthorised CD from MMM advert Turns out the bootleg is "Always on the run (vol.1)" by Lenny Kravitz! Wow.

Any ape could be a pirate. Watch out.
