Hmmm. I guess you only have to be bitten by Wikipedia once to decide it sucks.

The one thing I loved about Wikipedia was that if an article didn't exist, you could add one. Because it's a nice central starting point for everything, it made finding obscure things a little easier.

But my attempt to create an article on Australian band Pre.Shrunk was deleted.

[...] deleted "Pre.Shrunk" (it is an article about a band that does not assert the importance or significance of the subject).

Ten years of solid touring, ARIA nominations, four EPs, two albums, national radio play, "Album of the Week" on Triple J, 2 live at the wireless performances, frequent video play on Rage... nah, not important.

I'm sure it's because my original article was pathetically small (little more than a placeholder with the band members names) and if it had have been fleshed out to a full history (which I intended to do later), and if the band wasn't on a break and their official website empty, it wouldn't have been deleted.

But I can't be stuffed now. Doesn't take much to bring me around does it? I'll build the history here.

And seriously, why bother with crap like that when I have my own little editable "pedia" right here that I have full control over. Suck on that.
