I was thinking the other day that The Bible, or at least key stories of The Bible, would make a seriously good graphic novel. A don't-hold-back novel along the lines of The Invisibles. Not preachy, no side-taking. Just tell it like it is in the Book.

It would hold a lot more appeal to me than something like The Passion Of Christ, or reading the actual book.

Maybe I'm wrong. I'll tell you when someone does it and I read it.

I thought of this again as I read about Testament, a graphic novel set in the near future but with parallel story telling from the Old Testament [at BoingBoing].
