I saw V For Vendetta last night and wasn't all that impressed. As for the movie, lots of crap kept getting in the way of what should have been a good movie. As for the story, if I see another "gee that looks like a Hitler speach" scene in a movie I'm walking out.

Can anyone really actually really believe we'd be able to have a rally like that and have the person elected again? With the almost swastika flags and the almost goose stepping and everything?

History is just waiting to show us a new iconic political image to fear but the old one still has a lot of power. To me it seems really lazy. I know the comic is old... I know the point of the story is "don't be stupid again". Maybe we do need to be told a thousand times in case we forget.

But C is for Cookie isn't much better.

Spotted a new Sparks track on a mailing list I'm on. It's like a crazy mix of their Plagiarism album and South Park's Matt and Trey (without the swearing). Unless you think dick is a swear word.
