I've had my little MP3 player for two weeks now and can add the following:

• It can play it's own voice recordings (right at the end of the Play Music menu)
• I'd describe the sound as "distant" and "tinny". Pumping the bass in the EQ just makes my ears hurt, it doesn't improve the sound much. Better headphones might help. I have it to a point I'm happy enough with.
• With the supplied battery I managed to listen through about ten albums and a bit of radio. When the battery runs out it just stops working which is a little disturbing. No warning that I noticed.
• It seems to have a problem with very long songs (such as the last song on an album with a hidden track). They play as if they were ripped badly, like a scratched CD. Stopping and starting seems to help.

When I've finished with the current lot of music I'm going to attempt a firmware upgrade to see if it fixes the long song problem.

Otherwise, extremely happy with it.
