1st August 1987 - 15th July 2006
We received the call and rushed to be with her for the end.
She was lovingly wrapped in a blanket and taken home to be held one last time by the family. Goodbyes were said and she was buried in the garden next to Jack. We lit tea-lights, one for all her family, and went back inside.
We spent the remainder of the night looking through old photographs of family and pets. Laughter.
We left knowing that Bonnie had spent her 19 years well keeping four kids company right up until they became adults and left home.
She'll be forever missed.
