I wasn't prepared to pay $200 for it, but I finally got to hear it.
And it was good.
So good.

No.
But today is a very good day.
I've played a few gigs there. I always liked the venue, but the crowd never won me over...
We used to live in the area which made it convenient, and it had a dedicated carpark which is rare for a gigging venue. The stage equipment (PA, microphones, foldback) was all excellent.
I couldn't find any articles online about the closure so I don't know if it's forever or just a make over. The big beer sign was gone though...
Such a though almost makes me want to learn to draw...
