For every burst there are probably hundreds of unseen leaks.

MJF has hit the news lately after appearing in a pro-stem-cell advert in which he appears in the full throes of his Parkinson symptoms.

A few idiots have been suggesting he faked his symptoms, to the point of mocking and impersonating him.

Those in any doubt really should read Michael's "Lucky Man". A few years back Micheal made a similar appearance in front of congress asking for increased funding for Parkinson's. For this appearance he deliberately went off his medication.

This wasn't deception. It was a demonstration of what Parkinson's looks like when you can't afford medication. Or simply when you mistime your pills, which his book explains, is very easy to do. It was a demonstration of the most physical symptoms of the disease.

Often the symptoms are worse. Often a Parkinson's victim will wake unable to move, unable to even talk or swallow, completely stiff. Eventually they'll begin to "thaw"...

To be completely true to the disease and to silence his critics, maybe Micheal should have attempted the advert in while in this frozen state, lying on the floor in his suit. But even that would probably not be enough...
