The Brown bear exhibit was almost empty of water...
The Galapagos Tortoise were unusually active on the day. I've only ever seen them hiding or sitting but today they were moving around a lot. One emerged from the bushes to actively push another from the middle back into the bushed. The scraping noise each time it hit was pretty impressive... Another did a good job of almost pushing their fence over.

The Meerkats ignored us but freaked out when a plane flew over head. The watcher kept his eye locked on the plane as it made its way across the sky, and he spent the next few minutes making upset little noises while we watched.
The Orangutan spent most of their time hiding but sometimes came up to the glass for a look. The Siamang were much happier to be watched.
I went a bit crazy with the photos in the Butterfly House. It was actually cooler inside than outside which is a first for me. My glasses didn't fog up on entry!
