The idea of another reality populated by Lego fans that is built of Lego blocks is pretty appealing, especially the idea of a Moon base as well as Earth. Space Lego ruled.

Being able to build and fly my old favourite space ships would rule even harder. And of course, what I did most was build, and then crash those space ships, the astronauts smiling the whole way. I wonder if this world will have this option. One can only hope.

What I particularly like about it is that the "building blocks" of the online community will have a well known solid real world equivalent and so the interface and initial building shouldn't be very difficult to grasp.

I wonder what the restrictions will be. Will you have to "buy" pieces? Could I just pull out my old instructions and build from infinite pieces?

Will it include the awesome metal pieces that let you set up lights on your space ships?

I have to keep an eye on this.
