Those that have been hanging for a Midnight Oil fix since their break up would do well to pick up the latest Ghostwriters album, "Political Animal".

Ghostwriters are now Rob Hirst and Martin Rotsey (formerly of Midnight Oil), Hoodoo Gurus bassist Rick Grossman, D.C. (guitars/vox) and Lee Moloney (drums).

Former Midnight Oil guitarist Jim Moginie played keyboards on the new Ghostwriters album and also has a solo album (featuring a track with Hurst and Rotsey) entitled "Alas Folkloric".

Looking at songwriting credits on the albums (when listed), it's fair to say Hirst and Moginie (with frequent Garrett) were the main songwriters.
