I painted the back fence today. One coat, inside. Two coats on the gate. Started on the outside but it started getting dark. Rain forecast for the rest of the week so the rest will have to wait.

It sucks and it hurts but it's better than sanding.

It looks pretty darn good at night with the back light on. The charcoal fence vs. the green of the grass vs. the dark red of the pine bark in the garden vs. the white of a confused dog.

Katie spent the day putting plants in the ground and washing and walking the dog.

I planned to mow the lawn but never got around to it.
