2003, tomorrow:
[The] best moment was when Patton was running around the stage with the microphone held in his mouth with his teeth while still singing.

2004, yesterday:

"This band was poisoned by one person's petty jealousy and insecurity, and it led us to a slow, unnatural death. And I'm at peace with that, because I know I tried all I could." - Mike Patton

2004, yesterday:

"...it was later learned that Dimebag was the only band member murdered. Two fans, Nathan Bray and Erin Halk as well as the band's head of security, Mayhem (Jeff Thompson) were also murdered."

2003, yesterday:

I don't want to buy "downloads", I want to buy music.

2001, yesterday:

We recorded two tracks which should end up on a CD single / EP thang some time soon. We had ten times as much fun as I could have hoped. Extremely relaxed and extremely happy with the results.

2000, yesterday:

I have the flu. Plain old boring flu. I don't remember ever feeling like this, and hence can only conclude I've never had the flu before. All those times I suspected it, I only had a cold. Common cold. Lame. The flu is nothing like a cold. All my muscles hurt, my brain is all over the place and my chest hurts.

I still remember that flu. Worst... sickness... ever.

Right now I have a cold that I thought was heyfever...

IGN interview Ben Ely from Regurgitator.

My favourite quote:

IGN AU: How's your sideband, Jump 2 Lightspeed going?

Ben Ely: We've been getting into some psychedelic space-prog-rock at the moment. We're doing stuff with time signatures and stuff and intergalactic space exploration through sound. We did a tour last year on the last record, but the new record is just a completely different sound. It's really, really heavy space rock kind of stuff.

I really, really liked the first Jump 2 Light Speed album and I'm really looking forward to the next one, "completely different sound" or not. "Really heavy space rock" sounds awesome.

By the way, Quan's side project Blox has been released as an EP, available via Valve Record's online shop. I'm going to wait for the Regurgitator Band In The Bubble DVD to come out and order them both.
