Brilliant!
Every online music store should do this. Not only is it the perfect way to use digital distribution to enhance the music buying process, but it helps to encourage purchasing of the actual CD product instead of encouraging the "disposable" digital format.
Unfortunately it seems the "CD+MP3" purchase is 23 Euro, or about ten trillion dollars (or about AUS$38). And that doesn't even include postage. The MP3 only purchase is 10 Euro (or about AUS$16.60, no postage required).
Most of Bjork's albums can be bought for AUS$20 or less at JB HiFi.
Still, it's the thought that counts.
No word on Bjork's recovery. I hope they announce her fit to play at the Melbourne Big Day Out and not just assume we'll assume...
Let me explain...
In the original 80's Transformers movie, there is a bit of animation that is totally against the character of the rest of the movie (which is carnage all the way). It's in there as a bit of a blink and you'd miss it animated joke. When Sludge gets his back crushed by Devastator, his eyeballs pop out...
In the 2007 Transformers live action movie, when Optimus punches Bonecrusher in the head, his left eyeball pops out...
I think I'm admitting my level of geekiness by informing you I nearly died laughing when I saw it.
As further homage, Bonecrusher in the original series was one of the six Constructicons, who all combine to form Devastator, who caused the original eyeball pop on poor old Dinobot Sludge.
Optimus, the king of payback.
