The media is all over the new Nine Inch Nails album Ghosts. Trent has released the album on the official NIN website in free, US$5, US$10, US$75 and US$300 versions.

You can get a quarter of the album for free (320kbps MP3s), $5 for the full album in MP3, $10 for the full album on two CDs, $75 for 2CDs book and DVD or $300 for one of 2500 vinyl version signed and numbered by Trent's sweaty hand. A US$39 vinyl version will be in shops with the CD on April 5th in Australia.

If you buy the CD version (to be shipped 8th April) you get the option to immediately download the full album in MP3, FLAC (lossless) or Apple lossless.

I couldn't find details of the cost of postage. I believe the entire album is instrumental...

My favourite bit is that the release is instantly worldwide. I know why Amazon MP3 isn't available in Australia (artificially carved up music market) but I can't see why.
